How to book a photoshoot on the Potonow App in 5 easy steps

Step 1: Log In/Register and Select “Book Now”

When you open the Potonow app, you’ll see the “Book Now” button on the home screen.

If you already have an account, just log in to get started. If you’re new to Potonow, don’t worry - you can quickly create an account using your email, or you can sign in using your Google or Apple account, and it only takes a moment. After you finish this step, the app will take you directly to the scheduling page.

Step 2: Choose Your Shooting Type and Scene

Potonow offers six photo shoot types to help you find the option that best meets your needs: Personal, Couple, Family, Group, Students and Event. Each category includes a clear description, detailing the number of edited photos and the overall scope of the shoot. This way, you will know exactly what to expect before making your choice.

After that, think about where you’d like to have your photos taken. If you prefer a natural look and feel, an outdoor shoot is a great choice. If you want a polished look with perfect lighting and angles, then an indoor shoot is the way to go.

Step 3: Choose Your Location and Time for the Photo Shoot

Whether you’re in the heart of the city or off the beaten path, Potonow has local experts available nationwide. Simply select your province and specify your desired spot (e.g., Hanoi Old Quarter, Hoi An Ancient Town, My Khe Beach, or a hidden cafe). The more specific you are, the better your photographer can scout the best angles for you!

Next, pick a date that works for you. Please aim to book at least 2 days ahead of time. This "buffer" ensures a seamless experience and allows for any necessary pre-shoot coordination with your photographer.

Step 4: Detailed Description of the Shoot

This is your chance to tell us exactly what you’re dreaming of! Providing a clear brief helps our photographers prepare the best equipment and scout the perfect spots for you.

• Photoshoot Title: Keep it short and sweet so you and your photographer can easily track the project. Examples: Solo Ao Dai Experience at the Temple of Literature, Vintage Couple Session in the Old Quarter or Sunset Beach Picnic with Friends.
• Photoshoot Description: Describe the vibe, story or "aesthetic" you want to capture. The more specific, the better! For example: A group of 5 friends, energetic and fun, camping-themed. We’re looking for an airy park with golden hour sunlight and a relaxed weekend picnic vibe.
• Additional Services: Need a professional touch? You can request extra services like professional makeup, hair styling, or studio rentals right here.
• Your Budget: Set your preferred price range. This allows photographers to send you tailored proposals that best fit your needs and wallet.

Pro Tip: Don’t forget to upload a few inspiration photos or a moodboard! A visual reference is the fastest way to ensure you and your photographer are on the same page.

Step 5: Confirm Your Request

Once everything looks good, simply click “Confirm Request”. Your shoot will instantly appear on “Shootings” dashboard.
